Each basket is designed around practical household needs. Depending on safe food availability, a basket can include vegetables, fruit, and staple items that help families prepare balanced meals without losing dignity or choice.
The program connects three groups that already exist in the community: farmers and suppliers with surplus produce, sponsors who want their support to be clear and measurable, and families facing food pressure because of low income, illness, recovery, or emergency needs.
Before distribution, Nutri Box sorts produce, organizes the basket, and records basic impact information such as families reached, food rescued, and meals supported. This helps donors see where their contribution goes while helping the team improve each distribution round.
The goal is simple: keep good food from being wasted and move it quickly to homes where it can strengthen daily meals.
