Fresh Gardens is designed to help communities move from receiving food support to growing part of their own nutrition.

Nutri Box is identifying schools, youth groups, and community spaces that can host small gardens for vegetables and herbs. These gardens can support learning, responsibility, and access to fresh produce over time.

The planning stage includes checking available space, water access, basic tools, seasonal planting needs, and local mentorship. Farmer partners and volunteers can help young people understand how food grows and why nutrition matters.

Each garden will be simple enough to maintain but structured enough to track progress. Nutri Box can record what was planted, what was harvested, and how the produce supported school kitchens, youth groups, or nearby families.

The long-term aim is resilience. A small garden can become a classroom, a food source, and a practical reminder that community nutrition can be built locally.
